Join us on a transformative journey to expand your teaching toolkit, elevate your practice, and connect with a supportive community of like-minded professionals committed to excellence in yoga education.
Our first ever 6-month mentorship programme led by Tamsin Sheehy (E-RYT500) and Yanna Romano (E-RYT500).
The programme includes 3 immersive in-studio workshops, and 6 convenient online sessions, aimed at supporting yoga teachers in refining their skills, navigating the realities of teaching, and building confidence in their voice. Through personalised guidance, you’ll receive constructive feedback on your teaching methodology, sequence development, and student engagement techniques.
Let’s ask real questions about what it means to be a yoga teacher today. Let’s share case studies, reflect on our practice, hold ourselves accountable, and keep learning. Let’s chew on material together, help each other grow, deepen the value of what we offer, and inspire each other.
Teaching isn’t just about words – it’s about presence, movement, and care. We’ll explore how to teach in a way that feels natural, attuned, and sustainable for both you and your students.
When and how do we assist? What’s appropriate, and how do we read the moment? This session dives into safe, effective, and respectful hands-on teaching across different settings.
How do you hold space, maintain boundaries, and build a sustainable career? A conversation on ethics, confidence, and showing up with integrity.
How to offer variations, guide props, and adapt your teaching to different bodies, experience levels, injuries, and emotional states – so every student feels included and supported.
Yoga beyond asana – diving into the 8-limbed path, cultural appropriation vs. appreciation, and the use of Sanskrit vs. English. A necessary conversation.
How do we create a space that’s both focused and open, disciplined yet welcoming? This session explores the art of holding space in a way that meets different needs.
What does yoga look like in SA today? Where is it going, and what do we want to see as teachers? A conversation about our role in shaping yoga in this country.
Unlocking endless possibilities – how foundational alignment principles can support creative, well-balanced sequencing.
Teaching and practicing yoga through different life stages – how to evolve and adapt as your body, priorities, and students change over time.
