Nutrition must be one of the most difficult subjects to present as part of a study or workshop. Everything we consume, participate in and generate from within our own being can either nurture us or inhibit nurturing. We have lost our intuition around food nutrition the more industry, consumerism, fashion and lifestyle as separated us from our food source.  Our senses no longer inform us on quality and we don’t trust our bodies to let us know what and when it needs certain types of nutrients.  Through the quagmire of conflicting evidence and advice we can become radical and stressed around food and that is not conducive to nurturing.
Tamsin and Tom are the perfect people to lead us out of the mess.  Tamsin’s knowledge of yoga and body and how certain asanas aid aspects of the digestive process is astounding.  Yoga lowers our stress, which immediately increases our ability to absorb more nutrients, but it does so much more than that.  Slow Down is the message.  We were given simple powerful exercises to stimulate and support life processes, be it breathing, lymph clearing or strengthening.
Tom demonstrated simple foods, powerful for our healing, and within our grasp.  Again, the message is Slow Down in how we acquire, cook, eat and digest food.  We had a chance to bust myths that trips us and we laughed about how confusing it all has become.  We were pulled back to the strength of our intuition, the necessity for listening to our own bodies, and then with great relief:  “there is no need for radicalism”.
The strength for me about Tamsin and Tom is their combined knowledge and practice and the absence of hypocrisy.   If I had to sum up both of their approaches it is that small maintainable changes and steady consistent focus is much more effective than trinkets, flashy fads or big statements.
My body loved this workshop, I gained knowledge and confidence in making the right choices and something amazing shifted.  Thank you for this opportunity!

ii) Upon receipt of payment in full, client cancellation fees apply. Retreat start date is Thursday 18th October 2018.

  1. Notice period more than 4 weeks from start date = 100% refund available.
  2. Notice period between 2-4 weeks from start date = 50% refund available.
  3. Notice period less than 2 weeks from start date = no refund available.
