The heart desires nourishment and connection.

With the support of the suspension yoga hammock we are able to move towards a more open front body, safely and intentionally.  Without the downward compression produced by gravity, the muscles in the spine release and relax, reducing pressure on the joints.

In this workshop we will work to establish stability in the core and then gradually open hips, chest, upper back and shoulders to find grace, ease and freedom in a number of supported backbends.

Then we’ll unwind with slow, assisted stretching and enjoy a cocooned savasana experience.

The hammock is a wonderful tool to improve alignment and flexibility, encouraging a deeper practice and awakened energy.
